We have a time frame that we respond to applications in because it is unrealistic to expect staff to be available 24/7 to respond to applications. Additionally, applications that need additional review/discussion between staff to determine if we accept or deny may take a while longer. Your friend's application was one such app, and ultimately our staff team decided to decline her. I apologize for the inconvenience, but I wish you both the best of luck finding a more suitable server for you and your friend to play on. That red X is normal, simply shows up due to the server being behind Bungeecord.
Just checked the log:
User splatvenom has disconnected, reason: Timed out
Basically your client took more than 30 seconds to login so the server disconnected you, that is sadly an issue with 1.12 Forge and slow computers.
I did however add a little overwrite back in just now that should raise the time to a minute, so please try again after the next scheduled restart, which is in about 100 minutes from now! If you don't want to wait that long you can also try giving your game more memory (I recommend 5gb for Revelation) or close other software that may slow down your computer.
